Commercial License
How you can use songs created with Tunora on free and paid plans.
Last updated: 2026-10-15
Summary
- Paid plans (Basic, Pro, Premier): songs you create while subscribed can be used commercially.
- Free plan: songs are for personal, non-commercial use.
- The license is fixed when the song is created. Upgrading later doesn't change songs made on the free plan, and canceling doesn't take away the license for songs made while you were subscribed.
You can see each song's license on its song page and in your library.
What You Can Do on a Paid Plan
- Use songs in monetized videos on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and similar platforms.
- Use songs in podcasts, ads, trailers, live events, games and apps.
- Release songs on streaming services and sell them, alone or as part of a larger work.
- Edit, remix and combine songs with your own material.
No attribution is required, although "Made with Tunora" is always appreciated.
What You Can't Do
- Claim a song was written or performed by a real artist, or imitate a real artist's voice or name.
- Resell or redistribute songs as a stock music library or sample pack that competes with Tunora.
- Use songs in content that is illegal, hateful or defamatory.
- Register songs with content identification systems (such as YouTube Content ID) in a way that blocks other people's use of similar AI-generated music.
About Copyright
Laws on AI-generated works differ by country. In some places, including the United States, music generated entirely by AI may not be eligible for copyright protection without meaningful human authorship. This license gives you the right to use your songs as described above; it does not guarantee that you can register or enforce a copyright in them.
